Henry is an East Yorkshire native having lived and worked in the area his whole life.

Educated at St Mary’s College in Hull from Year 7 to Year 13, Henry then graduated from the University of Hull in 2015 with a Law Degree. Whilst at University Henry worked in the security industry as Door Supervisor, predominately working at licensed premises in Hull’s Old Town, as well as a supervisor on the stewarding team at the now MKM Stadium.

From East Yorkshire Roots to a Career in Law & Policing

Educated at St Mary’s College in Hull from Year 7 to Year 13, Henry then graduated from the University of Hull in 2015 with a Law Degree. Whilst at University Henry worked in the security industry as Door Supervisor, predominately working at licensed premises in Hull’s Old Town, as well as a supervisor on the stewarding team at the now MKM Stadium.

After University Henry joined another local firm of solicitors, whilst also serving as a Special Constable with Humberside Police. He then made the decision to join Humberside Police as a full time Constable in June 2018.

Henry's Return to Law: Expertise in Personal Injury & Litigation

Henry returned to the legal profession in August 2023 working as a Paralegal in personal injury litigation including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, tripping accidents and industrial disease matters.

Further to this, Henry has also gained experience in general litigation matters including contentious probate, contract disputes, landlord/tenants matters and boundary litigation.

Due to his policing background Henry is well placed to assist clients in regard to regulatory and criminal investigations. He has substantial experience in obtaining witness statements and preparing documents for submission at Court.

Henry takes a pragmatic approach to litigation, and he works with clients to establish a working relationship so that matters can be progressed quickly and thoroughly.

Balancing Family, Cricket, & BBQ: Henry's Life Outside Work

Outside of work Henry is kept busy by his 3 sons (soon to be 4) who are aged 6, 5 and 4. When not negotiating with children over eating dinner or getting in the bath, he can be found cutting the grass at North Cave Coal Exporters Cricket Club where he is the Head Groundsman, member of the 1st  XI squad, captain of the Midweek XI and coach to the 5-8 age group.  
He is an expert in all things Downton Abbey and is a keen BBQer, he has been known to man the grills whilst using an umbrella to protect the food from the elements.
